Hartfield Medical Centre
G3 Construction appointed as managing contractor by Ashley House plc for the construction of a new health centre in East Sussex.
The new health centre will measure approximately three times that of the existing Groombridge based Surgery. The building will incorporate three consultation rooms and a large treatment room. Partner of the Groombridge and Hartfield Practice, Doctor Andrew Wolfle said “We are very pleased to see activity on the site and look forward to seeing first class services on the site.”
Animal proof fencing has been erected around the site prior to the commencement of works. This is to ensure any animals located on the neighbouring heath land cannot access the construction site. Some relocation of snakes and frogs has also taken place in order to conserve the local ecosystem.
Vice Chair of Hartfield Parish Council, Cllr Nancy Holmes said “the Parish has been waiting and waiting for the surgery for such a long time and we’re absolutely delighted to see work underway.”
G3 Construction looks forward to the commencement of construction works in January and is pleased that the new health centre means a great deal to the local community.
